Restaurant Review: Zi Pizza

On Anderson Mill Road, there is a tiny jewel of a restaurant my sister and I were lucky enough to stumble upon. Wedged between a Tacqueria (talk-ah-REE-ah for you yankees) and a corner store, with a crumbling parking lot, it looks completely disreputable. I have come to believe this is all camouflage so they are not completely inundated with customers. The entire road and neighborhood would be swarmed with people waiting to experience the wonder that is Zi Pizza.

This place is right down the street from us, and is also incredibly cheap and delicious. A one topping, medium pizza is only FIVE BUCKS!!! You minions know I love me some cheap food. Every time we have multiple people over, I order a couple pizzas so I can convert as many people as possible. I am being completely honest when I say that everyone we have introduced to Zi’s freaking loves it. I have my suspicions that some people visit exclusively for the pizza.

Unfortunately, they don’t have their own website, but here’s the yelp review. Do NOT get this place confused with Z Pizza, a chain which has a location in Round Rock. That would be sacrilegious.

In addition to the one topping pizzas, they have calzones, salads, and a kick ass white pizza (tomatoes, garlic, spinach, and ricotta cheese). They have tons of unique pizza toppings, like chorizo (chore-REE-so for you people North of Dallas), which is a Mexican sausage. This is one of my all time favorite places, but you won’t find me there, stalkers! They deliver now!! Bahahhaa!
