I Love Beverages

I have noticed I have a tendency to collect beverages. If I’m in one place for a long time, they tend to accumulate around me. If I’m going anywhere I tend to bring a minimum of two with me, with an additional drink per hour of drive time. I know, I’m neurotic. I apparently have a subconscious paranoia of getting thirsty. I decided to do today’s post in honor of my latent obsession.

You may have heard that it tends to get hot down here in the South, you know like it tends to get hot in the Sahara. That may explain part of my liquid fixation. That’s also part of why iced tea is so popular here. If you try and drink hot tea in the summer time, you WILL spontaneously combust. I love taking all kinds of tea and making it into iced tea. My favorite so far is this blueberry tea!

I use my coffee maker to make the iced tea, and I only use one tea bag to make a whole pot, so it’s also really cost effective. Water can be so boring after awhile. I also like to make lots of Crystal Light or Wylers Light. They are both really tasty, and low calorie and no carbs. I love the fruit punch, and grape flavors.

Other than that I basically drink coffee and water, which are also both pretty cheap. Wait! My cup is empty!! I have to go!!

I am totally feeling you on the mint tea. I pretty much like all flavored teas, but the blueberry is my current favorite.
