Restaurant Review: DiMassi’s
On the North side of Austin, on 183, there sits an ambiguous brown strip center, with DiMassi’s Mediterranean Buffet. I had heard from a friend that it was good, so Hubby and I ran over there one day when we had the chance.
The food was okay. We went on a weeknight, which is a bad idea for a buffet. They are the opposite of other restaurants; you usually should go when it’s busy to ensure high turnover of the food.
The things that were supposedly spicy were bland, the tzaziki was watery, and the rice was crunchy from being left out too long. I prefer Tino’s over that place any day, and I will not be going back.
